Operating Instructions & Grinding Speed Selection

news31

Operating instructions:

Tungsten carbide rotary file is mainly driven by electric tools or pneumatic tools (also can be installed on machine tools), the speed is generally 6000-40000 RPM, the tool should be clamped and clamped properly when used, the cutting direction should move evenly from right to left, not reciprocating cutting, at the same time, do not exert too much force to prevent the cutting from flying when working, please use protective glasses.

Due to the operation of the rotary file embedded in the grinding machine, and manual control; So the pressure and feed speed of the file determine the working conditions and the experience and skill of the operator. Though, skilled operators can hold pressure and feed speed in a reasonable scope, but here is to emphasize: first, to avoid in the case of the speed of the grinding machine smaller added too much pressure, this will make it easy to file overheating, dull: second, tool maximum contact artifacts as possible, because it can more cutting edge artifacts, The processing effect can become better.

Finally, the handle part of the file should not come into contact with the workpiece, as this can overheat the file and damage or even destroy the copper joint. Replace or sharpen the dull file head in time to prevent it from being completely damaged. Dull files cut slowly, forcing the grinder to increase speed. This can cause damage to the file and grinder, far outstripping the cost of replacing or sharpening the dull files.

The lubricant can be used in conjunction with the operation, liquid wax lubricant and synthetic lubricant are more effective, lubricant can be regularly dripping to the file head.

Grinding speed selection:

The higher running speed is important for efficient and economical use of the round file head. The higher running speed is also helpful for reducing chip buildup in the zinc groove and for cutting corners and reducing the possibility of cutting interference or wedges. But this also increases the chance that the handle will break.

Hard alloy rotary files should run at speeds of 1500 to 3000 surface feet per minute. According to this standard, there are many kinds of rotary files available for grinding machines to choose from. For example: 30.000-rpm grinder can choose 3/16 to 3/8 diameter zinc files; 22,000 RPM grinder can choose 1/4″ to 1/2″ diameter files. But for more efficient operation, it is best to choose a diameter that is most commonly used. In addition, the maintenance of the grinding environment and system is also very important. Suppose a mill of 22.000-rpm breaks down frequently, probably because it has too few RPM. Therefore, we recommend that you often check the air pressure system of the grinding machine and the sealing device.

Reasonable running speed is really important to achieve the desired degree of cutting and workpiece quality. Increasing the speed can improve the processing quality and prolong the tool life, but may cause the fracture of the file handle: reducing the speed helps to quickly cut the material, but may cause the system overheating, cutting quality fluctuations and other ills. For each type of rotary file, the right speed should be selected according to the operation.
